Aaron Cook picks up win number 16 as the Rockies cruise to a 9-4 win over the Padres moving them a game and a half behind the second place Dodgers. It looks like Jake Peavy's start for Saturday has been moved back to Sunday against Jeff Francis. In Jake's place on Saturday will be Josh Geer (0-0) making his first major league start. The D'Backs got a win over the Dodgers, who have now lost 8 in a row. The increased confidence the Rockies are showing should in turn relate to an increased if not consistent attendance for the upcoming homestand against the Giants.
